Green Futures Workshops

Programme from 7pm

These worshops are an opportunity to have an update on Cross Compliance and the NVZ regulations, get information on the grants and business advice available and hear news on sheep electronic ID.  Please see below for the programme for the workshops and the dates and locations.

The workshops will begin at a prompt 7pm and will cover the following topis: 

  • What’s new for 2009
  • Updates and reminders of key points of Cross Compliance
  • Hazardous Waste; what is it and what is to be done with it
  • Outline of NVZs
  • News on Sheep EID
  • Available grants and business advice
  • Electronic SP5
  • Funds for Environmental Schemes

See how other farmers manage the farm environment and get yourself up to date with Cross Compliance, learn more about ELS, Sheep and cattle tagging and records, the Food and Feed law, Nitrate Vulnerable Zones and Soils.Cross Compliance advisors and the Farming Focus team including experts from NFU, CLA, EA, Natural England and The Rural Hub will be on hand to give advice and answer your questions on specific topics as well as a general Cross Compliance overview.
