We would like to invite you to a range of events to:

  • help you understand cross compliance requirements
  • demonstrate compliant farm management practice.

Open to farmers, other land managers, their advisers and agricultural contractors, attendance is free of charge and will help meet cross compliance requirements and ensure you, or your clients, receive the full Single Payment.

Event Types

Farm-based workshops

We are again offering farm workshops to farmers, land managers and agricultural contractors in 2006.

Catering for groups of 10-25, our advisers will visit your farm and deliver bespoke guidance on how to meet cross compliance requirements.

If you are interested in hosting a workshop on your farm, contact the cross compliance helpline on 0845 345 1302.

Farmer hosts will receive £100 if they encourage 10-25 peers to attend a workshop on their farm.

Farm walks at demonstration farms

Focusing on soils, habitat and landscape management aspects of GAEC, farm walks will illustrate a range of cross compliant farm practice in your region.

Each farm walk will be guided by cross compliance advisers and the host farmer who will discuss the practical requirements and answer your queries.  

Attending these farm walks provides the opportunity to see the practical measures that can be taken to meet Cross Compliance conditions effectively, and therefore help you to secure your full Single Payment.
